Slow controlled resistance training is an exercise protocol that gives you the safest, most efficient way to get real results from exercise. This protocol is evidence based – proven by exercise scientists and peer reviewed research.

A consistent weekly dose of resistance exercise can have a huge impact on your life, mind and body. You do not need to be fit to start this program. Lifting weights slowly is appropriate for everyone, and you can get a full body workout within just 30 minutes per week.  Research now reveals that results from brief sessions are actually better than longer sessions.

Mint Fitness opened in 2008 to provide supervised personal training and a calm, distraction free environment ideal for this style of exercise. We use specialized equipment (ARX Fit, Nautilus) and the training is carefully monitored – we record your all your times / weights so that the sessions keep progressing with every workout.
